Diadora is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Antonio Cassano, a star forward for U.C. Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A league.The deal extends through June 2013.

Cassano made his Serie A debut with A.S. Bari in 1999, and at age 19 he signed with Roma. In January 2006 he joined with Real Madrid, and since 2007 has been a mainstay of U.C. Sampdoria.

"This is a great first step for Diadora Sport to establish its presence in the Italian League, and Cassano is also gaining a devoted following here in the U.S.," said William Nuttall, President of Golden Viking Sports, LLC.
